Everest Insurance® is pleased to announce the addition of two new members to the E&S Casualty group based in the company’s Chicago office.

CHICAGO, Illinois – May 13, 2019 – Everest Insurance® is pleased to announce the addition of two new members to the E&S Casualty group based in the company’s Chicago office. The newest members of the unit are:

  • Joanne Suarez has joined the E&S Excess Casualty group as a Director responsible for underwriting excess casualty business over a broad range of industries. Previously, Joanne worked as an Assistant Vice President at BXM Insurance Services, Inc., focused on underwriting excess casualty. She has also worked at HCC Insurance Holdings, Inc. and C.V. Starr & Company of California, Inc. Joanne is a graduate of Arizona State University.
  • Mary Rimbey has joined the E&S Primary Casualty group as a Manager responsible for underwriting primary lines E&S business, offering clients solutions to complex and unusual risks outside of the standard market. Previously, Mary held the title of Senior Underwriter at Zurich North America, working within their wholesale division. Prior to Zurich, Mary worked at Navigators as an excess underwriter for wholesale casualty. Mary holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign.
