Everest Insurance® Announces Strategic Additions to U.S. Property Team

Everest Insurance^® announces the continued expansion of their property underwriting team with several key hires that serve to expand the team in the retail, wholesale and inland marine areas. 

New York, NY (January 6, 2017) – Everest Insurance^® announces the continued expansion of their property underwriting team with several key hires that serve to expand the team in the retail,
wholesale and inland marine areas.

Joining the Everest Wholesale Property team: 

Patrick Mulready has been appointed Vice President of the Everest Wholesale Property Division based in Boston. With over ten years of property underwriting experience, and strong relationships across the country with key wholesalers, Patrick’s addition to the team further cements the Everest near and long-term goals of providing value-added and differentiated service to our trading partners. Patrick held various roles of increasing responsibility at Lexington Insurance where he was most recently a Property Unit Manager overseeing a significant wholesale property portfolio. Patrick earned a Bachelor of Science Degree, with a concentration in Corporate Finance and Accounting, from Bentley University and holds a Masters of Business Administration from Babson College. 

Helena Meirhino has joined Everest’s Boston office as an Underwriting Manager in the Wholesale Property Division. Helena joins from Zurich Insurance where she was most recently a Senior Underwriter specializing in large account property. She brings to Everest fifteen years of industry experience having also held multi-line and multi-segment underwriting roles at both CNA and Allianz. Helena’s formidable background will compliment Everest’s property growth plans. Helena graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with dual Bachelor of Science Degrees in Finance and Business Administration and is fluent in both Spanish and Portuguese. 

Lauren Valencia has joined Everest’s Boston office as a Senior Property Underwriter in the Wholesale Division. Lauren joins the team from Allied World Assurance Company where she was most recently a Senior Underwriter in their property division. Lauren brings over five years of underwriting experience, having previously worked at Connecticut Underwriters, Inc. prior to joining AWAC. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Banking and Finance from The University of Southern Mississippi. 

Joining the Everest Retail Property team: 

Victor Twardowski has joined Everest’s Chicago office as Associate Manager in the Inland Marine Division. Victor joins from CNA where he was most recently IM Underwriting Specialist responsible for the Inland Marine portfolio in the Kansas and Missouri territories. Victor graduated from Dayton University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration majoring in Economics & Finance.

Tyler James has joined Everest’s Chicago office as Manager in the Inland Marine Division. Tyler joins Everest from Arthur J. Gallagher where he was charged with growth of Gallagher’s Construction practice in the Midwest Region specializing in program opportunities for construction industry associations. Prior to joining Arthur J. Gallagher Tyler held various roles of increasing responsibility at CNA where he was most recently responsible for the Chicago Inland Marine territory. Tyler is a graduate of University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.
