Youssef Sfaif

Youssef Sfaif is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Mt. Logan Capital Management, Ltd. (MLCM)

Youssef joined Mt. Logan in July 2022. He is responsible for the Company’s Investor Relations function across Business Development and Investor Servicing. He also oversees the Platform Structuring and serves on the MLCM Board of Directors.

Prior to joining MLCM, Youssef served as a Director within the Credit and Insurance Linked Investments (CILI) team of PGGM where he led or was a key deal team member for the structuring of insurance-linked investments across sidecars, rated reinsurer joint ventures, and collateralized reinsurance funds. He also contributed significantly to the CILI team’s portfolio management efforts. Prior to joining PGGM in 2017, Youssef worked in the structured reinsurance business at SCOR Global P&C and Marsh where he designed tailored and capital-efficient reinsurance and risk financing solutions across a variety of non-life risks.

Youssef holds a Master of Science degree in Actuarial Science and a Bachelor degree in Mathematics from the actuarial school of the University of Lyon, also known as Institut de Science Financière et d’Assurances.
