Charles Millard

Charles became an independent director of the Company in 2023.

He previously served as Citigroup’s Head of Global Pension Relations, where he oversaw relationships with corporate and public pensions as well as the firm’s annual pension conference. Earlier in his career, Mr. Millard was the Presidentially-appointed director of the U.S. Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (the “PBGC”). He was the first director of the PBGC to be confirmed by the United States Senate, and carried the rank of Under Secretary.

Mr. Millard has also served as President of BP Direct Securities and as a Managing Director at Lehman Brothers and Prudential Securities. He also served as president and chief executive officer of the New York City Economic Development Corporation, where he oversaw the conclusion of much of the successful redevelopment of 42nd Street and Times Square.

Prior to that, he was twice elected to the New York City Council, after beginning his career as an attorney with Davis Polk & Wardwell.

Mr. Millard earned a J.D. from Columbia Law School and a B.A. from the College of the Holy Cross.
