Location:   Warren, NJ – Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)

Join the Everest 2025 Summer Internship Program! This is an exciting opportunity to receive exposure to the world of Property & Casualty Reinsurance and Insurance through dynamic training, firsthand business experience, and networking with the industry’s leading experts and experienced professionals. Throughout the Program, you can expect to build upon the academic foundations you have established at school and apply your learning to real world scenarios.

The Summer Internship Program will run for 10 weeks: June 2 – August 8, 2025.

Everest does not provide visa sponsorship for this position. Successful candidates must possess the requisite permanent US employment authorization to be eligible for consideration.

Your Impact & Opportunity

  • Assist in the preparation of the annual operating budget and quarterly forecasts, including planning for strategic objectives, business initiatives, and operating expenses.
  • Assist prepare reports for the Quarterly Book Close process.
  • Engage and collaborate with segment finance teams and stakeholders across the organization to drive Financial Planning and Analysis processes and systems.
  • Assist with and in multi-functional projects on behalf of Reinsurance Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Create dashboards and ad hoc reports to support business operations and stakeholders.

What You Bring: Experience & Qualifications

  • You are a sophomore or junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree at an accredited college/university, preferably majoring in Accounting or Finance.
  • Possess knowledge of, or aptitude to learn basic accounting principles.
  • Be proficient using Microsoft Office software, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Effectively manage priorities and be attentive to details and deadlines
