Join Everest’s Finance Transformation department for their 2025 Summer Internship Program! This is an exciting opportunity to receive exposure to the world of Finance Transformation through dynamic training, firsthand business experience, and networking with the Property & Casualty (Re)Insurance industry’s leading experts and experienced finance professionals. A prospective student candidate can expect to build upon their established academic foundations and apply learnings to real world scenarios.
The Summer Internship Program will run for 10 weeks: June 2 – August 8, 2025

Your Impact and Opportunity
An internship within Finance Transformation is a unique opportunity to combine the experience provided by (Re)Insurance industry exposure, with accounting and auditing exposure which is typically only found through an internship program in public accounting. This department is an integral group to shape the future of Finance. At Everest, you will have an opportunity to see the internal workings of a global (Re)Insurance company, combined with the skills and knowledge required. During the internship, you can expect to:
- Apply your finance skills to assist drive the implementation and roll-out of key financial metric identification.
- Work with members of the Transformation team identify and execute strategic initiatives to achieve our vision.
- Support efforts to identify leading practices, improve processes, enhance systems.
- Assist support workstreams by gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses, and assist developing actionable recommendations.
- Assist create PowerPoint presentations to communicate and influence senior leadership.
- You may also develop, own and modify detailed Excel models to conduct what-if analyses and perform other analytical tasks.
- Establish relationships and invest in building trust with business process owners across the organization.
What You Bring: Experience & Qualifications
- You are a college sophomore or junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree at an accredited college/university, preferably majoring in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field of study.
- Successful completion of introductory accounting and/or tax courses is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment while managing multiple projects and priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications specially Excel, and also including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Interest and ability to multi-task across multiple projects.
- Conversant in basic accounting terminology and concepts
- Comfortable learning to use innovative technology, such as AuditBoard, ACL, PowerBI and other applications used throughout the organization.
- Possess excellent analytical, organizational, communication and collaboration skills.
- Display leadership and organizational skills and involvement in extracurricular activities, campus clubs/organizations, your community, etc.
- Have an ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
