Position Summary:
- The Head of Strategy Execution serves as a key enabling partner to the International Insurance cockpit (subset of the ILG - International Leadership Group), reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer (COO) of Everest International Insurance. The role holder:
- Drives the articulation of business strategy plus its delivery execution - overseeing the change portfolio and ensuring the outcomes remain on-track and always aligned to business priorities (assumed to be via OKRs and the chairing of a Strategy Realization Board).
- Lead when and how the ILG meet – bringing structure and discipline to checkpoints such as leadership meetings, business reviews, and offsites in addition to annual budget/planning cycles.
- Coordinates how business strategy is communicated and understood across both the International Insurance Division and the wider group bringing connectivity to corporate strategy and practical relevance to front line staff.
- Important that the individual is an ambassador of our corporate Values and Behaviours, helping foster the right culture across the leadership group and the wider business.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Articulation & Execution
- Drive the articulation of business strategy, plus its delivery execution.
- Influence strategic decision-making by analysing and translating business needs and problems into comprehensive plans and business cases for change.
- Oversee and coordinate the Change Portfolio and ensure the outcomes remain on-track and always aligned to business priorities - assumed to be via OKRs and the chairing of a Strategy Realization Board.
- Ensure that value extracted from change / transformation is operationalized and demonstrating increased business value.
- Define and articulate the impact of business and technological changes to the C-suite, ensuring that outcomes are measurable and adding value.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders and teams to define baselines and metrics. Monitor progress to ensure alignment with business outcomes and adjust strategies as needed.
ILG / Business Process Coordination
- Lead the rhythm around when and how the ILG meet – bringing structure and discipline to checkpoints such as leadership meetings, business reviews, and offsites.
- Ensure seamless coordination of budget cycles, strategic planning, portfolio reviews, and business reviews.
- Prepare and deliver corporate presentations for global reviews, ensuring full visibility and engagement from all stakeholders.
- Track progress meticulously to ensure that meetings are productive, and outcomes are aligned with strategic goals and actioned in a timely manner.
Strategy Communication & Business Engagement
- Coordinate how business strategy is communicated and understood across both the International Insurance Division and the wider group bringing connectivity to corporate strategy and practical relevance to front line staff.
- Facilitate clear and consistent messaging around business strategy and effectively convey progress towards anticipated business outcomes.
Ad Hoc Support
- Provide additional support to strategic projects, partnering closely with ILG members to ensure successful execution.
- Handle other ad-hoc executive requests as required, ensuring responsiveness and adaptability to evolving business needs.
