Andrew McBride

Andrew McBride is Senior Vice President and Group Chief Claims Officer at Everest.

Andrew leads Everest’s global claims function across both Insurance and Reinsurance divisions, overseeing all aspects of the Company’s claims operations and service. He joined Everest in 2021 as the Global Head of Claims for Everest Insurance®. As a leader driving growth and transformation in talent, technology, process, and data analytics, he was promoted to his current role in 2024.

Prior to Everest, Andrew served as Executive Vice President of Claims for ACE Overseas General, where he spent 3 years in New York leading and directing all aspects of claims operations across its businesses in more than 50 countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Asia Pacific, Japan, and Latin America. Following ACE’s acquisition of Chubb in 2016, he successfully led the integration of the ACE and Chubb claims teams and went on to lead the Claims Organization for Chubb’s international insurance businesses for 5 years, based in London.

Andrew also held senior international claims leadership roles at QBE, Aon, and AXA. He holds an honours degree in Law from the University of Leicester and is a Chartered Insurer and Chartered Company Director.
