Mike Harnett Joins Everest Insurance® as Deputy Chief Underwriting Officer

NEW YORK, New York – October 6, 2017 – Everest Re Group, Ltd. (NYSE: RE) announced today that Mike Harnett has joined Everest Insurance^® as Vice President, Deputy Chief Underwriting Officer for Everest Insurance^® North America. Mike joins Everest after having spent the last 13 years with Chubb (formerly ACE Group), most recently serving as Senior Vice President, Corporate Underwriting.

In his new role with Everest Insurance^® Mike will help drive all aspects of underwriting excellence, including the development of policies and procedures, underwriting strategy, product development and governance.
