Jill Beggs

Jill Beggs is Reinsurance Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Everest Reinsurance where she leads the profitable growth of the division’s worldwide portfolio, including Global Treaty, Facultative, and Specialty reinsurance businesses as well as Mt. Logan.

Prior to her current role, Jill managed the strategic direction of Everest’s reinsurance business in the United States, Canada, and Bermuda and oversaw the dedicated Global Specialties business as Head of North America and Global Specialty Reinsurance. A transformational business leader driving collaboration, transparency, and profitable growth, Jill has more than three decades of reinsurance underwriting experience. She started her career at Everest and rejoined in 2021 to run the reinsurance business in North America. Prior to that, Jill spent two decades at Munich Re where she led U.S. treaty and facultative reinsurance programs across multiple lines of business and also spearheaded the Company’s innovation incubator and E&S insurance start-up.

Jill is an active member of Everest’s DEI community as an Executive Sponsor of the DEI Council and the Veteran’s Employee Resource Group. She is also a member of the Association of Professional Insurance Women (APIW) and the Central New Jersey Chapter of the CPCU. Jill holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in management with a concentration in finance and minors in math and Spanish from Gettysburg College. An optimistic and trusted leader, Jill is on Lyft’s Board of Directors and the recipient of numerous industry honors and awards including the 2023 Business Insurance Women to Watch Award.
