NEW YORK, New York – June 12, 2018 – Everest Re Group, Ltd announced today the addition of Eric Koppang to the Everest Insurance® Specialty Casualty team within the E & S Casualty unit.
Eric joins Everest as Vice President and Head of E & S Casualty, based out of the Everest Insurance® Chicago office, reporting in to Connie Germano, head of Specialty Casualty. Eric will be responsible for developing new products, product enhancements, and helping lead the continued expansion of the E & S primary casualty unit in the wholesale space.
Commenting on the addition, Connie Germano, stated, "We are very pleased Eric has joined us to lead the E & S Casualty unit. Eric comes to Everest with 30 years of insurance industry experience, including 23 years in the E & S Casualty space. Prior to joining Everest Insurance®, Eric was most recently at Chubb, where he led the Westchester E & S Casualty group as Senior Vice President. Eric established Westchester’s Chicago office where he managed the E&S Primary and Excess Casualty groups for the Midwest, and was named the Construction Practice Leader.
