LIBERTY CORNER, NEW JERSEY – April 30, 2020 – Everest Re Group, Ltd. is pleased to announce the addition of Stephanie Merkel as Vice President, Marketing and Communications. In this role Stephanie will be responsible for leading the day to day activity of the Marketing and Communications team toward the implementation of the global Everest marketing and communications plan. Stephanie will report to Everest Re Group, Ltd. Group Head of Marketing & Communications, Dane Lopes, and she will be based in the Company’s Philadelphia, PA, office.
Stephanie joins Everest from Chubb where she served in a variety of senior marketing capacities within their North America operation, having supported the Major Accounts Casualty, ESIS® and Accident & Health divisions. Before joining Chubb, Stephanie held various marketing and communications roles at AIG. Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Central Connecticut State University with a Communication & Media Studies emphasis and a minor in Journalism.
