Everest National Announces Strategic Initiative Aimed at the Sports & Leisure Industry

Everest National Insurance Company, the U.S.-based insurance division of Everest Re Group, today announced the formation of a new managing general agency, Specialty Insurance Group ("SIG").

LIBERTY CORNER – February 13, 2013 - Everest National Insurance Company, the U.S.-based insurance division of Everest Re Group, today announced the formation of a new managing general agency, Specialty Insurance Group ("SIG"). The new agency, which will be focused on providing tailored insurance products and solutions to meet the unique risk management needs of the Sports and Leisure industry, will underwrite risks on behalf of Everest National, and its affiliate, Everest Indemnity Insurance Company, as well as other risk bearing entities.

Greg Mosher has been appointed the Managing Director of SIG. Mr. Mosher, a former partner of the K&K Insurance Group, led this well respected firm for more than 20 years, building it into a premier provider of sports, leisure, and entertainment products. Since then, he has served as CEO to several large companies, across a variety of industries, and has proven to be an accomplished entrepreneur and executive.
