The Everest Insurance® Claims Medical Management group is pleased to announce two new medical management solutions for select Everest workers’ compensation policyholders.
LIBERTY CORNER, NJ ‐‐ April 12, 2019 ‐‐ The Everest Insurance® Claims Medical Management group is pleased to announce two new medical management solutions for select Everest workers’ compensation policyholders. Everest Nurse Triage and Everest Telemed join the group’s suite of client‐based services. These tools are built to provide quick and efficient care to injured workers.
Everest and Company Nurse® have joined together to offer the Everest Nurse Triage program, giving injured employees immediate access to licensed RNs who specialize in workplace injuries. The program streamlines the First Report of Injury process, reducing claim reporting lag time, and advises employees of necessary self‐care or additional medical care.
Everest Telemed, a collaboration between Everest Insurance® and Concentra®, is available in conjunction with the Everest Nurse Triage Program. Everest Telemed is an innovative telemedicine product designed to provide prompt attention for minor medical issues. From easy check‐in to prompt diagnosis and treatment, Everest Telemed utilizes digital communication to facilitate quick access to a licensed clinician trained in occupational medicine. It is currently available in 24 states, with 13 additional states going live this year.
