Everest Re Group, Ltd. announced today the appointments of Ari Moskowitz and Peter Bell to critical leadership roles within the company’s Reinsurance Division.
WARREN, NEW JERSEY – July 14, 2021 – Everest Re Group, Ltd. announced today the appointments of Ari Moskowitz and Peter Bell to critical leadership roles within the company’s Reinsurance Division. Ari has been named Senior Vice President, Chief Operations Officer and Peter has been named Senior Vice President, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Bermuda, subject to BMA approval. Ari and Peter will both report to Jim Williamson, Everest Re Group Chief Operating Officer and Head of Reinsurance.
Ari has 14 years of industry experience and joined Everest in 2019 as Deputy Chief Pricing Actuary for the Reinsurance Division. In his newly created role, Ari will continue to oversee reinsurance actuarial pricing and will assume responsibility for claims. Ari will have responsibility for driving operational excellence across the division and leading critical strategic initiatives.
Peter joined Everest in 2003 and has more than 30 years of experience in both insurance and reinsurance roles. Most recently, he served as Deputy Managing Director of Bermuda. In his newly expanded role, Peter will oversee all of operations for Bermuda.
